Mother's Day Social

I’d like to thank our young people for organising an amazing Mother’s Day social!

Everyone who attended was very impressed by the food, decoration and service...it was simply fantastic! The mums were so surprised to find the hall so beautifully decorated with a full sit-down meal awaiting them...with table service and excellent food. it was such a treat for all our hard-working mums and aunties to be served for a change and not have to wash up.

Youth Water-ski Day 8th May 2011

The day started bright and early

In fact it was a frightful 5:30

The temperature gauge read 5 degrees

And the biting cold did not ease

Our adventure began at Wisemans Ferry

The water temperature wasn’t as scary

Wakeboarding I did enjoy

All of my skills I had to employ

Eastwood Health Assessment

A BIG Thank you to all those who helped out today at the Health Assessment at Eastwood.

We were blessed with warm sunshine and great attitudes and teamwork from all the participants.

Everyone played their role well, including Rams who had to expand his duties and play security guard! Even a small head injury couldn't deter Victor!!

We had a good turn out from the community and everyone looked to have enjoyed the occasion.

Another big thank you to those who also stayed back to help with some extra letterboxing afterwards.

Adventurer's Fun Day

On Sunday, April 3, 2011 the Adventurers of Epping Church comprising of Jessica, Mia, Zac, Ethan, Nic, Asenath and Madeleine attended the Adventurers Fun Day at Mountain View College, Doonside.

The morning commenced with the formalities of marching, pledge & law, and the Adventurer song and then got into the full swing of fun activities.

Under the supervision of our fearless Adventurers leaders - Sharon, Jess & Ken, the kids enjoyed games like ‘Pass the Bucket’, Team Relays, Dodgeball and 4-Way Tug-of-War.

Sound Panels Installed!

The sound panels in the church have finally been installed after a second big effort by a few dedicated members.

Sew and Tell

Sew and Tell: Our next meeting will be at Sue's home at 7.30 pm on April 4. All ladies are very welcome to share in a devotional reading, craft and fellowship. There will be photographs to see for those who attended Coralea's birthday dinner.

And you might want to wish Coralea a happy 70th birthday for March 31 - we were a bit early with our celebration but here is photographic evidence that we did indeed celebrate, and Coralea has been enjoying using her present ever since.

Working Bee Thanks

Dear Friends, I wanted to write and thank all those who participated in the Epping Church Working Bee yesterday.  We had an excellent turn out and a lot was achieved on the day.  The church as a result has not looked better in a long time..
